I've been there several times and each time, I've felt ripped off. It feels like a self serve place with full resturant prices. Either the pricing is off or they need to figure out a way to make the experience more engaging. Maybe they need more unusual toppings on the bar to put on the burger, or they need to offer some sides. Bur what they're doing now just doesn't work for me.

I actually still like this classic burger restaurant quite a bit. I really get sick of the old 50's tunes that they play. They play the same ones all the time when you're there. But, the restaurant makes up for that with good food and a fun place to sit and chat with little interruption. I really like the fact that you can add as many vegetables to your food as you want at the topping bar. I love the fact that you can sometimes order an ostrich burger. (I fell in love with the meat in Indonesia where it was an occasional substitute for beef, and you can't really get it at the stores here.) I always order my sandwiches with no butter (or margarine) on the toasted bun. Most of the time they get that part right. I know it sounds crazy, but I top my burgers with banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, and either cholula or green tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper. Sometimes a crispy chicken with swiss chesse and mushrooms is good too.
