I have cooked and eaten good Cajun food all of my life. I can honestly say that the food at Sambets is a real taste of home. They are literally an Award Winning Deli with real Cajun Classics like the "Po-Boy", Gumbo, Etouffee` and so much more. They also carry more hot sauces than I have seen in one place. They carry hard to find "Cajun Brands" like Blue Plate and many others. They even get great Crawfish and have all the fixin's right there! They have a tasty creation available too. That's right, it's their sweet potato fries. They are terrific! Hands down this is the best place to eat in all of Travis County!

Sutherlands has remained the friendliest place to be. They have hard to find fencing at very low prices and if they don't have it they will get it. Not like my experiences with "The Depot" or "Lohz" where they did their best to try to make me feel unwanted. I haven't found any lost teenagers in orange vests tell me they have no idea what I am talking about. Sutherlands has knowledgeable staff that are always willing to help and know exactly what you are talking about.
