Romantic mood, love jazz music in the background. As for the quality of food, it's alright. GREAT ONION SOUP! Not great for a steak house. Try potroast if you like it. They give great taste bread (carrot cake and other) as appetizers. Perfect place for valentines' day date or special occation...

I like the food at Mimis alot. Favorites are...the omelettes if you're going for breakfast. Sometimes they try to gyp you on the juices. Ask what size the juice is before you order. (I've even had times where they only filled the glass halfway) Lunch and dinner...the bleu cheese walnut salad is very good. Also, all their muffins are yummy. Make sure to ask them to heat it up, though, if they're not fresh...one thing is...sometimes their service is lacking. Alot of servers are young, and you can tell some of them try, but sometimes not so much.

Great Bakery items set Mimi's off from any place around. We like to go there on the off hours when there is less of a crowd. The wait staff have always treated us with great care and respect. On the days when we go and there is a little wait, we enjoy sitting near the fire and the wait seems like a nice part of the dining experience.

Don't like! It's so dark and dreary in there. There food isn't that great. When I went there last time, I was not impressed with their food. Not a good place to go.
